People knock down perfectly good old houses and build new instead of building new houses on empty land that was never occupied.
Some people throw old furniture in the bin because they do not like the way it looks. That is a huge waste of wood. If you know those people please convince them to stop wasting natural resources.
Similarly to waste of paper waste of wood destroyed trees and thus destroy animal habitat causing extinction of species that need trees to survive. Destruction of trees is destroying our oxygen supply.
